Teaching Children with Autism
My paper, An Introduction to TAGteach, has been accepted for the ONTABA conference in November. TAGteach is one of a handful of “specialized” themes within the broader ABA context. Others that I am impressed by are teaching to fluency (which includes “precision teaching” and celebration charting), Pivotal Response Training, and a focus on social communication. Robert Langs’ ideas about thr bipersonal field are, I believe, equally important but only peripherally ABA, i.e., not ABA but something that I believe can inform ABA treatment.
